Routine Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest

A Winchester Hills resident is arrested after a routine traffic stop by Hurricane Police turned up the vehicle he was driving was listed as stolen.  After calling for back up, Officer Travis Hall inventoried the vehicle and found very various sizes of knives, along with items consistent with drug paraphernalia and drug use.  The driver, 30-year-old Rone Dangerfield, was arrested on a second-degree felony charge of vehicle theft and several misdemeanor counts including possession of a category II weapon by a restricted person.  Dangerfield is being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility on a $14,510 bond.
