Former BYU Football Player Arrested

Another BYU athlete alumnus makes the headlines for off the field highlights, but these highlights could land him behind bars. Former football standout at BYU and in the NFL, Reno Mahe was arrested on charges of felony theft. It was discovered through an audit and verified by security tape, that Mahe, among others, were stealing gas from a construction company in Salt Lake City. Mahe stated he was following the advice of a friend, and thought he was allowed to fill up his vehicles for free. The trial for Mahe’s 2nd degree felony is set for August 5th.
