Vehicle driven by high schooler crashes into parked car near campus

A car driven by two high school men crashed into a parked car when they were turning a corner near the Dixie State University baseball fields around 6 a.m. this morning.

Carly Alexander of Logandale received a knock on her door from a police officer informing her of the incident.

“We didn’t even hear it at all,” Alexander said.

The two men were reportedly on their way to lift weights at the DSU fitness center when the accident occurred.

“Something fell off his dashboard as he was rounding the corner and he went down for minute and then straight into my car,” Alexander said.

Alexander recently moved to St. George and will be attending DSU in the spring.
