Two fire engines and crews were dispatched Saturday evening to a home in the Washington Fields area. No injuries were reported. The home is located on Sandia Road.
“At this point, we want to have the most accurate information possible, and it’s still under investigation,” said Ed Kantor, Washington City Public Safety Public Information Officer.
Neighbors told SUN News that a fireplace blaze left unattended started the house fire, though authorities said they will not be able to determine the cause until Sunday.
