Park Rangers at Grand Canyon are investigating the apparent fatality of a 70-year-old male. Visitors found the body near a vehicle at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday along the Cape Royale Trail.
Emergency Responders the man’s body to the South Rim landing pad to be met by Arizona’s Coconino County medical examiners.
The identity of the man has not yet been disclosed, but next of kin has been notified.
