Apple’s long-awaited release of the newest iPhone just came into perspective for many, as the Silicon Valley company announces the unveiling date: Tuesday, October 4.
The event, appropriately labeled “Let’s talk iPhone” will come 15 months after the iPhone 4’s release– something customers are not used to, as the previous smart phone releases have been between June and July. The keynote will take place on Apple’s home turf, its Cupertino campus in California at 10 a.m. PT. Social media outlets are abuzz that Apple CEO Tim Cook will be delivering the presentation for his first time as CEO.
Concepts, rumors and educated guesses draw up the new iPhone in all shapes and sizes. One thing that most sources agree with is that the new iPhone will contain an 8-megapixel camera, the iPad 2’s A5 Processor for 9-times faster graphics, and a new voice-activated software in iOS 5 called Assistant.
What do you think the new iPhone will be like?
