A motorcycle slammed into a U.S. Postal Service truck on St. George Boulevard at the 200 East cross street today, when the biker turned out of a parking lot onto the crowded street.
Visibility in the area has proven to be notoriously limited, and police suspect it may have been a factor in the accident. The biker suffered lacerations to the head and was transported by ambulance to the local hospital. However, when officers and EMTS arrived at the scene, he was conscious and responsive.
The worst of the car’s injuries was the loss of its front bumper, and the driver of the truck escaped unharmed.
