Cash Reward for Smith’s Robbery

By:

The St. George Police Department and Crime Stoppers have upped the ante for information regarding last month’s Smith Pharmacy robbery.

Now there is up to a $5,000 cash reward being donated by the pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P., a combined effort between industry pharmacists and law enforcement to investigate and stop pharmacy theft.

On August 18, the suspect entered Smith’s on Bluff Street with a handgun, and left with an unknown amount of prescription drugs from the pharmacy.

The thin white male ranging from 5″8-5″10 was reportedly wearing a fisherman’s hat, black pants, surgical mask, and white shirt with blue long sleeves on the day of the robbery.

Officials believe the man is not only suspect connected to the Smith’s Pharmacy robbery on August 18, but three other prior pharmaceutical robberies. If anyone has any information regarding the incident or suspect, contact the Crime Stopper Hotline at 888-4RxTips or 888-479-8477.
