Severe thunderstorms may have caused a fatal I-15 rollover Sunday evening near Leeds, when one person was killed and another injured.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a Toyota Corolla rolled at least once then hit a large rock in the median, coming to rest on the driver’s side facing north.
58-year-old Sherri Winder, of Salt Lake City, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The driver, 62-year-old Kent Winder, was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center. Both the driver and passenger were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
