Snow Canyon Students Get a ‘GRASP’ on Service

By:

Students at Snow Canyon Middle School are working with GRASP, a local education program, to knit homemade hats for Intermountain Healthcare’s cancer patients.

The project began when John Page and Sharon Moss, two of the middle school’s GRASP correspondents, said they wanted to bring academic and social goals of the education program with the  integrity of giving, back to the community.

The program has reportedly made a positive impact on all of those involved, with the full order of hats aiming for completion by this Christmas season.

If you have any materials you would like to donate, such as yarns, looms, or hooks, feel free to call Snow Canyon Middle School at (435) 674-6474.
