The Redmen of Cedar High took on the Skyline Eagles in nonregion play Friday, and Cedar came out strong, scoring the first points of the game with a 5-yard run.
The Eagles answered back with a 35-yard run to end the quarter. The second was much of the same, with the Redmen throwing into the endzone and the Eagles taking the run to end out the half tied 14-14.
After the break the Redmen held Skyline scoreless until the fourth, when the Eagles put seven points on the board. Cedar answered with a 3-yard run to bring the deficit to one. The extra point to tie it all up was missed, landing Skyline the 21-20 victory.
In their next contest, the Redmen travel to Hurricane to try and tame the undefeated Tigers.
