By:

A California resident was killed after his vehicle rolled near mile marker 95 on Interstate 15.

A Public Information Officer of the Utah Department of Public Safety, Sgt. Ted Tingey, told SUN News that Guillermo Granados, 55, was driving a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck going south on I-15 when the tire tread separated from the left rear tire of his vehicle making Granados lose control of the truck.

The vehicle went off the center of the highway 20 miles north of Parowan and rolled. Granados was wearing his seat belt but, due to the force of the vehicle rolling over, he was partially ejected from the vehicle. Granados was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened at 11:03 Friday morning.
