The Dixie Flyers traveled to Snow College to take on the Utes of Uintah High School. Entering the game with a perfect record, the Flyers did not let the travel affect the performance. In the first quarter, Blake Barney connected with Kyle Hansen for an easy TD. The second quarter is where the Flyers spread their wings, scoring 35 points, starting with a 13-yard run from Justin Cummings. Barney put another TD on the board via Drew Batchelor. A 57-yard run from Justin Cummings helped finish out the half at 42-0.
The Flyers coasted through the second half with Tanner Webster jogging one across the line in the third to finish off the Dixie scoring for the night. Uintah kicked a 20-yard field goal to put the only points of the night on the board. The Flyers finished the game with 49 points to the Utes’ 3.
Austin Barker use his golden foot to connect on all seven of the PATs, while QB Drew Barney and Justin Cummings each had two TDS on the night.
The Flyers will travel across town next Friday to take on the Panthers.
