The River Valley Dust Devils made the trek to Walt Brooks Stadium to take on the Flyers of Dixie. Dixie came out strong with Justin Cummings running 15 yards into the endzone to break the ice. Tadd Challis started his night off with a 95-yard pass from Blake Barney. The Tigers ended the first quarter up 21-0.
The Flyers would not let up with Tadd Challis and Blake Barney teaming up again with a 29 yard pass to help put the Tigers up 35-0 before the break. That just was not enough for Hurricane kicker Austin Barker who kicked an amazing 43-yard field goal to end the half 38-0.
The Flyers were able to rest up during the break and came onto the field with fury. Blake Barney connected with Challis again on a 51-yard pass to open the half up. Kyle Hansen wanted a turn and caught a 28-yard pass in the endzone to end the third.
After being silent all night, the Dust Devils scored late in the game, and the contest wrapped up with Dixie flying high, 59-7.
