Washington County Drug Task Force, St. George SWAT, the DEA and other agencies once again came together Thursday to eradicate another marijuana grow. The grow, located on General Steam Road about 10 miles northwest of Veyo consisted of 7,731 plants which were successfully seized and removed from the area by helicopter.
No arrests were made on scene as the sight appeared to be abandoned. Lt. Jake Adams of Washington County Sheriffs office told SUN News, “it is possible this grow was related to the bust made mid-july where nearly 40 people were arrested.”
Officials say this grow was eradicated due to the vigilance of Washington County citizens.
