Dixie State Football adds three assistant coaches in anticipation of the 2011 football season.
Dixie State’s Head Football Coach Scott Brumfield announced Monday that Judd Thompson, Derek Campbell, and Robert Grant will be joining the coaching staff.
Thompson is a Dixie State College graduate. He played quarterback and tight end for Dixie State, and will return to the sidelines this year as the quarterback coach.
Campbell comes to DSC after spending the previous four years at Snow College in Ephraim. Campbell is a defensive line coach who will bring plenty of experience to the sidelines of Hansen Stadium.
Robert Grant joins the coaching staff after spending time at Brigham Young University assisting linebackers and special teams. Grant has also spent time as an assistant coach in the high school ranks, and played two seasons of pro football for The Scottish Claymores in NFL Europe.
The Red Storm take to the field for the season opener on September 3 against Adams State College.
