Scooter Accident

    A 53-year-old man was sent to the hospital around 6:15 Friday night after driving a scooter into a wall.

    St. George Police told SUN News the man asked his female friend if he could use her scooter to learn how to operate two-wheeled motor vehicles. With her help he was able to ride it for a short time but then throttled the machine up to nearly 20 miles per-hour and lost control, crashing into a brick wall.

    Police say the man ended up with scratches and abrasions as well as possibly having a broken knee or leg. The man is conscious, alert and expected to recover.
